George and his wife Lynda started Millcreek Gardens in 1978 after graduating with a B.S. degree in Agriculture from The Ohio State University, specializing in Horticulture. He leads the day to day operations as our General Manager. His outside interests include gardening, biking, tennis, and hiking.
George has served on the Board of Directors of the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association and the Perennial Plant Association.
Lynda graduated from the Ohio State University with a degree in Ornamental Horticulture. She also holds a degree in Microbiology from Purdue University. She has provided a strong, steady hand in Millcreek’s growth. In 1978, after being told by another grower “you’ll never make any money growing herbs”, Lynda went on to pioneer growing herbs in containers to make them more widely available to gardeners in this area of the country. Her work as an herb grower has had a huge impact on the success of Millcreek Gardens. Her outside interests include nutrition, yoga, biking, hiking, tennis, and gardening.‹ Back to Previous Page
